What if I want to make a contribution from a donor-advised fund, my company's workplace giving program, or a gift of stock?
Georgia Tech Giving Day is a unique online giving event, and we encourage all gifts to be made directly at GTgives.org. However, we will do our best to accommodate these special gifts. Please contact our Manager, Leadership & Volunteer Giving, Jessica Fischler (jessica.fischler@alumni.gatech.edu), to work out the specific details.
What should I do if my card is not working or is declined?
First, ensure the address you entered for your gift matches the current billing address for the card (for example, the card is not tied to an old address or a business). If you still encounter issues, please reach out to 404-385-4483 (GIVE) or email GTgives@alumni.gatech.edu, and we will be happy to help you!
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card is charged immediately upon finalizing your gift on the site. Once you complete your gift transaction, you will receive an email confirmation which will serve as your official receipt.
Are gifts tax-deductible?
All gifts are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. Once you complete your gift transaction, you will receive an email confirmation. This will serve as your official gift acknowledgement and tax receipt.
Does my Georgia Tech Giving Day gift count towards my Roll Call consecutive giving years?
Only gifts designated to Roll Call on Georgia Tech Giving Day will count towards your Roll Call consecutive giving.
